Coverage

What is live in production today versus what is on the roadmap. We do not present demo fixtures or placeholder “coverage bundles” as auditable sanctions data.

Live now

United States — OFAC SDN

Specially Designated Nationals and blocked persons. Matched on names, aliases, and identifiers present in the official SDN file.

United Nations — Security Council

UN consolidated sanctions list. Person and entity designations maintained under Security Council resolutions.

European Union — Financial Sanctions File

EU consolidated financial sanctions. Screened as part of the active multi-jurisdiction bundle.

United Kingdom — FCDO sanctions

UK sanctions list (FCDO). Continuously refreshed into immutable list snapshots.

South Africa — FIC TFS

South Africa FIC Targeted Financial Sanctions. Supports local AML/CFT screening expectations.

Australia — DFAT consolidated sanctions

Australian DFAT list via OpenSanctions, same snapshot / hash / freshness path as other live sources.

Canada — SEMA consolidated sanctions

Canadian autonomous sanctions (SEMA) via OpenSanctions.

Switzerland — SECO sanctions

Swiss SECO embargoes / sanctions via OpenSanctions.

INTERPOL Red Notices

Persons subject to INTERPOL Red Notices (via OpenSanctions). Matched as watch-category hits requiring human review — not treated as UN/OFAC sanctions equivalents.

Politically Exposed Persons (OpenSanctions PEP)

Global PEP datasets via OpenSanctions with position / jurisdiction / tier metadata. Default disposition is review (configurable); never a silent clear on a true PEP name match when PEP screening is enabled.

Designated wallets (OFAC SDN and other lists)

Exact wallet-address matching where official designation records include digital-asset identifiers (primarily OFAC SDN today; other regimes when they publish crypto IDs).

Postal / listed addresses (OFAC + ZA FIC TFS + OpenSanctions)

Address lines captured from OFAC, South Africa FIC TFS, and additional OpenSanctions sanctions records where present.

Live advisory (not deterministic hits)

Adverse-media discovery (GDELT + AI summary)

Live article discovery via GDELT with stored citations and risk-theme tags. OpenAI summarises findings when configured. Advisory only — not a deterministic hit corpus and never auto-clears sanctions.

Live platform (API + console)

Match bands, entity profiles, risk scores

Hits return strong/likely/possible/unlikely bands with reasons, stable entityProfileId values, and an org-weighted riskScore (0–100) configurable in console Settings.

Continuous monitoring

Watch people, entities, and wallets via API (/monitor) or console Monitor. Watches rescreen when lists refresh; status worsenings emit signed monitor.alert webhooks.

Cases, audit export, graph-lite

Case dispositions with evidence packs; audit JSON export; relationship neighbors from shared listed addresses (Postgres graph-lite — no separate graph DB required).

Daily list refresh

BullMQ workers refresh all enabled lists daily (03:00 UTC), rebuild relationship edges, and rescreen due monitors. Freshness is enforced by /api/v1/health/ready.

Roadmap (not live data)

Durable adverse-media screening corpus

Versioned media index for deterministic adverse_media hits on person/entity screens (beyond live search).

Compromised identifiers

Email/phone credential-cluster screening from a named, licensed source. Endpoint exists; no synthetic fixture clusters in production.

Authenticated screens return version IDs, effective dates, record counts, and SHA-256 content hashes for every list used. Your organisation remains responsible for its AML/CFT programme and final dispositions.
